Owners of one the notorious uniforms in NFL history, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are updating their look for the third time in franchise history.
The Buc’s entered the league in 1976 sporting extremely bright orange jerseys, often referred to as the “Creamsicle” uniforms. Historians often classify them as the most hideous uniforms in league history. The Buc’s updated their look in 1997; utilizing red, black, and orange alongside a modern, updated Pirate-Ship logo.
When Tampa Bay opens up the 2014 NFL Season, they’ll be sporting these brand-new Nike designed threads. Sticking with their current color scheme, the Buccaneers put a modern spin on their old uniforms. To me, they look like a futuristic remix with a larger Pirate Ship on the helmet!
